Log Siding

Half Round Log Siding by Heritage Lumber is always carefully hand selected and graded for soundness and beauty. We cut true natural tapered round or lathed half-log siding from kiln dried or dead standing Lodge Pole Pine, Spruce, White Fir, Western Red Cedar and Douglas Fir. Logs can be hand tailored with a variety of finishes. Whether you’re looking for clean peeled, draw knifed, bark-on, skip peeled, sandblasted or smooth log siding, we can make it. Of course, each log is produced according to the specified grade for the builder's use.

Dove Tail siding options include kiln-dried Douglas Fir, Spruce and Lodge Pole Pine with random width (RW) and random length (RL).

Log Slab Siding by Heritage Lumber is carefully hand-crafted, selected and graded for soundness and beauty. We cut true natural tapered round logs and make our siding from green or dead standing Lodge Pole, Spruce, White Fir, Western Red Cedar, and Douglas Fir. The edges are carefully hand-peeled to remove the bark, and then back relief is applied for stability. The face texture can be band sawn, circle sawn, hand hewn, or sand blasted depending on customer preference. Moisture content is carefully controlled at 15% or less prior to shipment.
