Heritage Lumber can distress new lumber, giving it the appearance of antique, hand-hewn reclaimed wood. Likewise, we can use a circle saw on the face of your lumber or sand blast it to add an even more rustic and naturally weathered texture. We also have the tools to create a smooth, clean finish to any choice lumber. Larger saws can provide a quicker, more generalized finish. Or, you can specify a variety of sanded finish textures depending on the specified needs of your architect or builder.

If you're looking for an austere edge, we can also sandblast the logs, timbers, and boards to give them a smooth, worn finish, successfully emulating years of natural weathering. This technique reveals the western character of any log.
